Susan and I were both really hoping we could go to DC with Doug this year, or that he could get out of going this year, but neither was in the cards for us. Susan's band contest was during the trip, and if she missed that, she would fail band. As it turns out, it was probably a good thing we couldn't go. It was cold, windy and snowy the whole time Doug was there. That's bad enough for "going to meetings" weather. It made for horrible sight-seeing weather. As a matter-of-fact, he got snowed in there. His original flight home was cancelled due to a huge snowstorm, and he wound up getting home Friday insteady of Wednesday. We sure missed him!

| He went to the College Park Ward. In Priesthood Meeting, after he introduced himself, there was a guy named Kent Hamilton, who had Decker relatives that introduced himself. It turns out he is a second cousin, once removed, through Z.B. Decker, Jr. |
