Spring is Looming on the Horizon!

Spring weather may actually be here at last!  The Gallup wind has started blowing.  A few flowers and blossoms are peeping out, and we are able to work outside with out jackets at last.  However, springtime in Gallup brings lots of surprises.  Sometimes we go from rain to wind to sunshine to show to wind to sunshine...  all in the space of a couple of hours!

Our first little daffodil of the season is just about to bloom!

As you can see, our popcorn just just about popping on our apricot tree.  It's awfully early for that.  It looks like we won't be eating apricots this year.  (It's supposed to freeze tonight.)

As you know, I am a pushover for a good infomercial product.  This is the Worx.  It is a leaf blower, leaf sucker AND mulcher all in one!  I couldn't resist!  Here it is in action...

...and here is the lovely mulch that it makes!

We planted a few things in the hoop house yesterday.  The little green things you see are cabbage plants.  We planted kale, chard, radishes, spinach and green onion seed as well.

You know how dogs always seem to go to the person that likes them the LEAST?  Well, Dad is a dog magnet.  We went to McMullins for a picnic/Easter egg hunt yesterday.  Here's Dad and his new pals!

This is Leah's little guy, Spencer.  He's 15 months old already.
