| Oct. 7 is National Chocolate Covered Pretzel Day. I bought these at Albertsons's during my lunch break to celebrate, but I left them in the car all afternoon and they melted. I had to lay them out on parchment to harden again! |

| We celebrated National Cheese Curd day on October 15. We bought this cheese curd at the gas station at Soldier Summit on our way up to American Fork. |

| Steve and Angela celebrated with their crew by making Poutine for dinner. We had never heard of Poutine... |

| ...so we celebrated cheese curds a few days later by making our own Poutine at home. We liked it! |

| It was also National Grouch Day. Eli was celebrating being a grouch, so he called to talk to Grandad, the Grouch Pooba, to celebrate, but they both stopped being grouchy when they saw each other! |

| October 16 is National Support your Local Chamber of Commerce Day. It is also National Bra Day, but no pictures of that one. Some things just can't be unseen. |

| We had spaghetti for dinner a few days ago, and didn't realize National Pasta Day was just around the corner. So we ate leftovers for lunch to celebrate on October 17. |

| October 19 is National Kentucky Day. We celebrated by going to KFC... |

| ...but when we got there, an employee came out and told us the air conditioner malfunctioned and blew dust down into all the food contaminating it, so KFC was closed. So we went home and cooked a chicken dinner ourselves, and it was good. |

| It was also National Caramel Apple Day. A mom of a kid in my class gave me a caramel apple for Halloween, and now I can celebrate Caramel Apple Day in style! |
