A Couple of things from April!

I made a Ramen Noodle Lasagne from 101 Things to do with Ramen Noodles.

The first lawn mowing of the season.  The winds have been so bad this year that our poor back lawn may never recover.

Coloring Easter Eggs

Our old grill needed some work, so the dad was going to fix it up.  Sadly, it was so old that we could no longer get parts for it, so the dad got an early Father's Day gift this year!

The grandad made a delicious Peach Cobbler from 101 Things to do with Gelatin!

Little Red Hen time.  We planted some wheat!

We ground some wheat into flour!

We made the dough...

We kneaded it!

We baked it into bread and ate it with butter and honey!

We stopped to stretch our legs in Grants on our way home from the Temple.  We found a geocache!

We got a new dishwasher.  Our last one developed a leak that kept getting bigger and bigger.  Steve and the dad put that last one in right after or before they put in the laminate flooring on the day of Steve's High School Graduation.  He put this one in on the day of Steve's second Bachelor's Degree graduation!

We watched the groundbreaking for the Farmington Temple today!  There is a good chance Gallup will wind up in that temple district.  Although it's just as good a chance we will stay in the Albuquerque temple district as well.

The dad made Shrimp and Clam Chowder from 101 Things to do With Powdered Milk.  This is by far the best chowder I have eaten outside of Boston!  We will definitely make it again!
