Another month has come to an end. We spent the month celebrating every day! Some of you celebrated with us! Hooray for celebrating!
| May 1 is May Day! May Day is a time to celebrate flowers and Springtime ! |
| Or the Dad's interpretation "Mayday, Mayday! S... |
| ...O... |
| ...S!" |
| May 2 is National Truffle Day. |
| May 3 is National Two Different Colored Shoes Day! I actually wore these to school. Mr. Hartog was subbing, and he asked what was up with the shoes. I told him it was National Two Different Colored Shoes Day, and he said, "Oh, so that's what your'e going to call it, huh?" |
| May 4 is National Orange Juice Day. We are drinking orange juice at the dining room of our hotel before going to the temple. |
| It was also National Homebrew Day... |
| ...and of course, Star Wars Day! |
| This is how David celebrated! |
| This is how Steve and Angela Celebrated! |
| May 5 is International Day of the Midwife. I'm thankful to this midwife for helping Micah arrive... |
| ...and to this midwife for helping Erica to get here safe and sound! |
| It's also National Infertility Survival Day. Angela sent us this picture of her two miracles, and the paraphernalia it took to get them here. |
| May 5 is also Cinco de Mayo! |
| May 6 is Crepe Suzette Day... |
| ...so we made non-alcoholic Crepes Suzette. |
| May 7 is National Teacher Appreciation Day. |
| My kids are appreciating me! |
| May 8 is National Bike to School Day, but it was pouring rain that day, so... |

| It was delicious! |

| ...but then Amy said that she thought it was probably sore muscle foam rolling they were talking about. Duh. That didn't even cross my mind. |
| May 12 is Mother's Day. The dad wrapped my Mother's Day gift. |
| Cookies, and 2-quart jars! |
| He also made me Dutch Babies for breakfast! |
