Our Baby!

Brian is a wonderful father, husband, son, brother, priesthood man, friend, neighbor...  Last week at the District Attorney's Conference in Albuquerque, he was presented with this!
We are very grateful and pleased to have him for a son.  Because of the way Brian is, we are thrilled with this honor, but not surprised!

General Conference Weekend!

Can I just say that I LOVE GENERAL CONFERENCE WEEKENDS!  I love the Conference itself very much.  I always feel a new invigoration that makes me want to do and be better.  This weekend did not disappoint me in that respect.  I also love having Brian, Chelsea and David come for the weekend.  David had a febrile seizure on Thursday, so we were afraid they might not be able to come this time.  But they did come, and the weekend was great in that respect, too!

Early on Saturday morning, Brian and I were headed to Albertson's to get some beansprouts and mushrooms for Sunday's Bippen Bap, and we passed by Don Scarborough's house.  They were having a yard sale with furniture.  We stopped and spent $45 and bought Brian and Chelsea an entertainment center, a mini trampoline, a diaper shelf, a high chair thingie for when David is bigger, and I bought a table and chair for Susan when she needs one.  Our green room is packed with furniture right now.  Sometime in May, we'll rent a trailor and take their stuff to Farmington.

Brian and Chelsea bought a new laptop.  Brian set it up during Conference since they don't have wireless at home.

Every little while, David wanted to go around touching all the decorative turtles I have set around.  I got Harvey out, and he was not so happy to see her.

Things got quiet, so I went to look for David.  He was very contentedly sitting up at the computer looking at family pictures scroll by on my screensaver!  (He didn't start touching the keyboard until I came back with my camera to take pictures of him.

David loves trucks and things with wheels right now.  We got out the Hotwheels track and cars. He thought that was pretty great fun!  He found this yellow generic car, and that was the one he wanted to keep holding.  It wouldn't even make it through the loops, but it was the chosen car anyway.

David is smiling for the camera.

Brian cut all the Bipen Bap vegetables during Conference.  He is a beautiful cutter.  Maybe he's got his retirement career already in the making!

The buddies and the play mat.

Chelsea was sick during Girls' Night, so she did my toes on Sunday.  I love them.  They are definitely a break out of my normal toe style!

When I wasn't being Grandma, I cleaned the picture holders on the refrigerator and updated pictures!

Cooking Sunday dinner!

David helping me vacuum.

It's almost ready!

I'm already looking forward to General Conference in October.
