Some Things Just Don't Turn Out The Way You Plan!

So, we decided that since it was such a lovely day, we should go on a picnic and hike up in the Zuni Mountains near McGaffey this evening.  We made some delicous pita bread, packed stuff to stick in the pitas, and took off to the mountains.  The sky was blue; the birds were singing.  It was a lovely day.

We decided that it would be a good time to scout out a good camping spot in case we're able to go camping next weekend.  We found a great spot.  We unloaded the stuff from the car.  The sky was blue; the birds were singing.  It was a lovely day.

Susan had to work today, and she was pooped.  She's taking a little snoozle while the chicken for the sandwiches is cooking.

The dad is cooking the chicken patties.  It's starting to sprinkle.

The rain is getting harder as we're assembling our sandwiches.

It started pouring.  We made it to the car to eat just as the deluge began.  I have no idea how to spell deluge.  If I spelled it wrong, use your imagination.

It takes more than just a little rain to ruin our picnic!

The dinner was soggy, but delicious!

We got home from the picnic, and the sky was blue; the birds were singing, so Susan decided to give our corn maze a try.  Will she make it out?  It is a bit of a sticky situation she finds herself in.
