Geocaching!

Chelsea and David and I went and found a cache while they were here, and actually finding one that we hadn't been able to find before kind of made me get bit by the geocaching bug.  On our trip to Provo, we found a few caches!  Wahoo!  (We got skunked on two of them.  Boo.)  Here's our adventure.  I've already posted about hunting with Chelsea and David, but I'm going throw in a couple of those pictures again here, because that's what got us started again.  (The dad just sent me an e-mail.  Today is the 16th Anniversary of the first geocache!)

This is Chelsea using her Nuvii to find the exact coordinates of the Chihuahuaita Cache.

Daivid and I found it!

This one had a trackable!  We traded a blue counting bear for a C3PO.  (Ooo.  Bad hair day.)

David likes his new trackable!

Chelsea texted and told us there was an easy cache right on the highway in Wellington.  We  hit the app, got the information, and found it!  We got a giraffe eraser out of it, and put an paper clamp and mini-clothespin in it!

We dropped the dad's ipod somewhere in the pickup, and couldn't find it, so we pulled over at a little park in Price to look for it.  We thought the little park would be a great place for someone to hide a cache.  We found one pretty close, but wound up getting lost in Price for a bit.  We found the cache, and got back on the road.

This one was pretty close to our hotel.  The container was camouflaged, and it blended it.  The dad found this one!

This one was also cloe to our hotel.  It was teensy weensy, but we found it!

The dad and I tried finding this one last time we were in Provo.  It was at Joaquin Park, just a couple of blocks from Steve's and Angela's house.  We got skunked then, and we almost got skunked this time.  We left the park, then read the activity logs, and went back and found it right away.  This time, we found two logs just a few feet from each other!
We got to church a little early, so while we were waiting for Steve's family to get there, we found one in the church house parking lot!
