Seuss Week Has Come and Gone

We started out Seuss week with the dad doing his annual Green Eggs and Ham thing.  We have been celebrating Seuss all week long.

Susan came and read "The Butter Battle Book," to my crew.

Then we tried bread butter-side up, and butter-side down!

Mr. Hartog, our principal, came to read "If I Ran the Circus."

Afterwards, he helped us make pink lemonade, like they serve in the Circus McGerkus.  (It just so happened that the story in our Reading Series anthology was about a fiesta where they served limonada.  There is a recipe in our anthology for limonada, so we used that recipe, and added strawberry Torani to make it pink!

Mr. Hartog said these are the times that it is fun to be a principal!  The kids had fun, too!
