Thanksgiving Weekend!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving week with our family.  Susan got to come home nearly a week early, which was very exciting for the mom and the dad.  We missed our baby girl.  Susan and Dad are making the traditional Mincemeat Pocket Pies!

The dad wanted to try a Crockpot Pecan Pie this year.  It was a winner!

We used another cookbook making a delicious Chicken Corn Chowder for the folks traveling in for Thanksgiving!

Susan made the Green Bean Casserole from one of our cookbooks!  It was delicious!  Brian and Chelsea made pie and the mashed potatoes, but I didn't get a picture of that!  Delicious as well!

...but he had his own later on.

Steven made Hollendaise Sauce for Eggs Benedict for breakfast.  I'm sure I didn't spell that correctly.

We took the boys out for a walk while just about everyone else went to find the geocaches we hid!  This is how we went the entire walk.  I pushed the stroller, the dad carried Micah, and David held Grandad's hand!  It was adoreable if I do say so myself!

And of course, we had Musical Mayhem.

The music was "glorious" to behold.

The girls had a Jamberry nails night!  Chelsea showed us all how to do it...

Amy came down with strep, so she spent much of Friday like this.

Brian mowed the lawns and got the yard all ready for winter.  The yard looks great.  He is  hard worker and does a great job!

Steve and Angela were going to head back to American Fork on Monday morning, but the weather made them cancel their plans.  That turned out to be good all the way around.  Angela wound up getting strep, so staying that extra day let her go to the clinic so she could get going on antibiotics before her trip home, and it let them stay to help decorate the Christmas tree, and they had better weather  the next day!  We got to spend a whole extra day with them (other than the fact that the dad and I both had to work.)
