It's Finally Starting to Feel Like Fall!

We've had another busy non-stop week!  It is finally starting to feel like fall, though.  Until now, it has been unseasonably warm.  We had rain a couple of days, and it has cooled things down a bit.

Went to a blood drive this week!  Uneventful, which is good.

The dad made this tasty and delicious Pineapple, Sweet Potato Skillet!

We harvested our potatoes on Saturday.  Not a bumper crop year this year.

I contacted the owner of the cache that is just off Susan's trail down to Ford Canyon Park and told him we thought his cache had been muggled.  We asked if he still lived in the area, and if he'd like us to replace it if he didn't.  He said he moved a few months ago, and was happy we were willing to replace it.  It's in a hide-a-key container that looks like a rock!

Green Chile and Corn Chowder.  (The recipe didn't call for the green chile.  We added that on our own!)
