| As usual, it's all about the food. We knocked off several more cookbooks in our quest (New Year's Resolution) to make a new recipe from at least one of our many cookbooks each week throughout the year. We made grilled asparagus here. |

| I read a novel that had a restaurant that specialized in Aspic Salad. That is a cold tomato jello salad that was popular in the 1950s. I decided to make some. there is definitely a reason they stopped making it by the 1960s. The book had the recipe for it in the back. It was the same recipe I found here. It kind of makes me gag just looking at the picture again. |
