Thanksgiving at Our House!

We had Thanksgiving Dinner here at home again this year.  Usually Carol and Mark join us for the day, but this year, they had health issues that prevented them from driving over from Albuquerque.  Mark had a heart attack last week, and Carol has had back problems.  So it was just us.

Amy drove over from Phoenix on Tuesday night, so on Wednesday, she started baking pies!   MMMmmm pies.  She made four of them this year!

Susan came down from Rexburg with her roommate and a car full of her friends.  She spent the night Tuesday in Provo with Steve, Angela and Micah.  She fell in love with that little guy all over again!  He's won Grandma's and Grandad's hearts as well!

Get a load of that adoreable face!

Brian and Chelsea came over on Wednesday afternoon.  Brian had been throwing up most of the night because of a stomach bug.  By noon or so, he decided he was done with the bodily fluids running, and they came on over.  Brian felt pretty crummy the rest of the day, and Chelsea started her run with the bug the next day--Thanksgiving.  I'm not sure how much fun the weekend was for them, but the rest of us enjoyed it!
Grandad holds Baby David.

Amy was a "baby hog" every chance she got.  She had the nerve telling me I couldn't be a baby hog, and then...

Susan was a little afraid at first because David is still so tiny.  She got over that.

David is learning the intricasies of pocket pie making.

Usually Brian or Steven help with the turkey prep.  This year it was Amy's turn.

The feast is about to begin!

Amy and the dad making the traditional Friday-after-Thanksgiving Pizza for dinner.  It was a winner!

The dad's job.  Boning the turkey afterwards.

On Saturday, after we got the house all decorated inside and out for Christmas, we took pictures for the Christmas Card and the calendar.

These are some that didn't make the grade.
