Trip to Provo for Micah's Blessing!

The weekend after Thanksgiving, we were able to be with our family again.  This time, we all converged upon Steve and Angela for Micah's Blessing.  The older I get, the more I understand why the family is the basic unit in the gospel, and why it is so necessary for our happiness.  There is nothing that makes me happier than our family!

We love the Provo Temple!  We went to a session right after we got to Provo.

It was a beautiful Provo day!

Chelsea sent me an e-mail about a Norman Rockwell exhibit that was going on at the Museum of Arts on BYU Campus while we were going to be in Provo.  I went online and got us all tickets!  Norman Rockwell is my favorite artist of all time, next to my mom, of course.

We had been to two Norman Rockwell exhibits before.  One was a Boy Scout exhibit at the Springville Museum back when we were in college.  The other was a Tom Sawyer exhibit at the Tom Sawyer Museum in Hannibal, MO.  We went there while we were on our way to the Nauvoo Temple Open House.
Michelle and Steve Clement came with their kids just to see us!

Extended family is very important to Michelle and Steve.  I'm glad!

David is in an outfit that Brian wore when he was a baby!

Chelsea's parents hadn't seen David yet.  They were able to come down to Provo to see the little guy!

After church on Sunday, we played Dix-It with Angela's family.
