Last Week, and Chelsea's Baby Shower!

This week was my Fall Break.  I got Thursday and Friday off of school, and I will have to say, I really needed that little break.  On Thursday, the dad had meetings in Albuquerque, so I went along with him, and I spent the day with Carol.  We haven't done that for way too long!  We had a good day together.

It was Balloon Fiesta week in Albuquerque!  The skies were filled with ballons!  This one was a  lot closer than it looks in thte picture!

Carol and I went out for lunch to the Ghengis Grill by Winrock.  It was really good!

On Saturday, Amy and I drove over to Farmington for a surprise baby shower for Chelsea.  Here she is walking in the door to a "Relief Society Presidency Meeting."

Her little guy will be very well-dressed!

Brian took us to his new office.  He has a window now.  Until last week, I didn't know that he had a badge.  Here it is!

After the shower, we went to the Farmington Quilt Guild Quilt Show!  I'm always up for that!  I am amazed at the talent of these quilters!

It was a fun little adventure!

Next time we see Brian and Chelsea, they will be parents!
