We had a nice weekend! Brian and Chelsea came over on Friday night, and on Saturday....

| ...we went in to Albuquerque for the day. We went over to see Dad. While we were in Logan, we went and took pictures of the house he was raised in, his church building and his Elementary School. They are all across the street from each other. Dad is 90 years old now, so it has been many, many years since he has seen his old neighborhood. He said he didn't recognize the house or the school because they have changed so much. The church building looked similar. |

| We took Grandpa out for lunch. We chose Standard Diner on Central. We found online that this is a diner that was featured on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives on FoodTV Network. Funny thing. When we got to Wicked, as we were reading in the Wicked Program, we found that Standard Diner was the featured eating establishment. How's that for a fun coincidence! |
| Here we are on the shuttle bus heading over to Popejoy Hall! |
| We're getting ready to head in to the auditorium. (We bought a Wicked keychain at this little booth!) |
| The show was great! The dad has seen it four times now, and I've seen it three times. I think it gets better each time we see it. There are new lines and inuendos we pick up each time we see it. I imagine this will be our last time, though. All of our kids have seen it now. |

| Fast forward to Sunday. Brian and Chelsea stayed and went to church with us. After church, we had Elder and Sister Jensesn over for dinner (senior missionaries in our branch). Doug and I went to The Messiah practice over at the church, so Brian and Chelsea made the entire dinner. it was delicious! This is an apple crumble pie! |
