Our Trip to Mesa!

I took Thursday and Friday off, and we went down to Mesa for Andy's wedding, and for the Gilbert Temple Open House.  It was a nice weekend!

 

Susan got her hair cut before we left for the valley.  It was large and poofey when she got back from the Hair Hut.

On Friday, we drove over to Sun City West and spent the day with Uncle Al and Aunt Joanne Colledge.  Here we are eating at a restaurant called Pei Wei.

 

We went on a little hike in the White Tank Mountains.

 

This is by a waterfall (or a water seep) at the end of the trail.

 

We picked citrus fruit with Papa.

 

 

Picking lemons.

 

Picking oranges.

 

Papa is picking spinach in his Winter Garden.

 

On Saturday, we went to the Gilbert Temple Open House.

 

It was beautiful!

 

I don't think you can probably see it in the windows, but there is an agave plant theme throughout the temple.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Susan spent a lot of her trip reading.
