Where Did We Get This Kid?

We had another very normal week, this week.  Normal is good.  However, normal at our house apparently isn't normal at everyone else's house.

This is Susan getting ready to work at the Farmer's Market.  She said if she's going to work there, she needs to look the part.  She says it's scary being surrounded by hippies and granola eaters.

Ever sing Kumba Ya to a rainstick?  Susan has.

We had a huge downpour one afternoon, and the gutters were really flowing.  Susan took off splashing in the gutters.

While Susan was gone, Mr. Apodaca, our mailman, came to the door and asked if I knew what Susan was up to.  He was laughing!  He said, "Didn't she already graduate from high school?"

Susan worked at the McKinley County Preparedness fair with the Bike Mobile teaching bicycle safety.

I wore a pair of Drunk Goggles and tried to walk a straight line.  Didn't work so well for me.

Look!  A cucumber is growing on our apple tree!

Fall is on its way.  The chrysanthemums are starting to bloom.  These were table decorations for Steve's and Angela's wedding Open House.

Susan is a big girl now.  She has her very first checking account!
