December 2025 (Part 2) and January 2026.

I thought that the older I got, the more time I would have on my hands for things like getting my blog caught up.  I find that isn't so.  I seem to get busier and busier as time goes on.  My last two posts were two months at a time.  That may just be how it goes from now on.  Maybe not.... we shall see!

As I'm looking at the pictures this time, I'm not sure what happened.  There are several pictures I took that just plain didn't transfer to my computer.  This is what I've got.  They were all out of order.

Celebrating Festivus on December 23

Celebrating with meatloaf....

...and fits of strength.

Baking Christmas cookies.  I love Christmas cookies.

Grandad wearing his fan hat.

The grandkiddos taped pictures and clues onto the gredenza in the kitchen, and the tape took off the finish.

Angela brought a furniture touch-up kit, and it looks great now!  Yay!

I'm not sure why all these pictures are blurry.  Here we are making tamales on New Year's Eve.

We did lots of puzzles this year

Micah and Erika are doing piano lessons from a cool app.

They sound great!

Farmington had a huge snow!

Brian treated us to a delicious lunch of pistachio encrusted tuna steaks.

It was delicious!  The whole meal was delicious!

In January, we met Amy, Cody and crew in Flagstaff.  We spent the night in a hotel, and we had a great weekend.

The hotel pool was closed for maintenance, so we went to the Flagstaff Aquatic Center.

I don't know what this meal even was, but it was probably delicious!

This was back in Flagstaff.

This was back before Christmas.  Buddy the Elf popped over for a visit.  It was so fun!

Back in Flagstaff.

Back to Buddy.

Chelsea had a video of Buddy trying to hug the grandad.  It was choice!

Making fruitcake.

December 2025 Part 1

These actually took place in November, but they are Santa pictures, so I am posting them in a December blog.

Santa dropped by to wish the kiddos a Merry Christmas!

Calvin was one happy camper!

Emily on the big guy's lap!

Eli's turn!

Peter gets his turn to visit with the Man from up North!

Even David's not to big yet to sit on Santa's lap.

Even Susan isn't too big.

I couldn't pass up my turn!

Chelsea and Brian got me flavored whipped cream for Christma!  They also got me this whipped cream ornament.  Everyone knows how I feel about whipped cream!

We went in to Albuquerque to go to the temple, to help Carol and Mark with Christmas decorating, and to go to Costco.

Carol's favorite decoration is this village that my my mom made.

Doug played Santa at the Ward Christmas Party.  These are Minnie (Browning) and Christian Woody's brand new twins!

I love Santa!
