May was a super-busy month, yet I didn't take many pictures this month. We'll start the post with pictures sent to us by our family, and end with the pictures I took.

| The dad put a new cover over the feed pipes and cleaned up the chicken area. It looks great! |

| A Master Gardener told us it's a good idea to burn the top of the soil in the garden beds before planting. It is supposed to kill off lots of bug eggs (hopefully squash bugs) and it kills fungus that may be living i the soil. We did it last year, and we only had 1 squash bug that we saw. We still did get fungus on our cucumber leaves, though, but not as bad as usual. |
