June and July 2026

I hung out with the kids while Brian, Chelsea and the Dad were at the temple.  We snuck out and walked over to Dairy Queen for Cherry-dipped ice cream cones.

Father's Day Dinner

At the Mesa Temple

We went down to Chandler to see Amy's and Cody's new place.

We took Eli and Calvin home with us for a little visit.

Eggs from "The Girls."

We went to the Children's Museum in the Mall.

Making sliders.

We read "Cook-a-doodle-do."  We decided to make the same strawberry shortcake that the animals made.

It was delicious!

Micah was Grandad's apprentice in making the ribs!

Making Flag Waffles on Independence Day!

Making Mongolian Barbeque to order.

Eli organized a drawing contest!

It was a lot of fun!

Micah and Erika stayed for a few days after Independence Day.  We went to see the Minions' new movie.

We spend the afternoon at the Children's Museum.

I can't figure out for the life of me what this picture is.

We got to have Brian's and Chelsea's kids with us for a few days!

We did tie-dye shirts.

Backyard fishing

On the last few days before school started, the Dad and I decided to do a temple-hopping adventure and we went to four temples we had never been to before.

Our first stop was the Grand Junction Temple.

Here we are at the Denver Temple.  These pictures are out of order.

We walked around downtown Grand Junction.  It was cute and quaint.

We drove over to Vernal, Utah.  While we there, we went to Dinosaur National Park.

You can't really see it in the photos, but the wall in the background is solid dinosaur fossils.

We celebrated the Dad's 66th Birthday with mug cakes we made in our hotel room.

We ate dinner at a cute little Ranch-style cafe in Vernal.

The Vernal Temple.

Next stop was the Fort Collins, Colorado temple.

Another Geocache

We went to a Buc-ee's!  It really is "all that."

Another geocache

In Denver, we took a light-rail train to a Colorado Rockies baseball game.

There was a sudden downpour, so they had to cover the field.  After the rain quit, the rolled up the cover.

We had a wonderful adventure just in time for school to start on Monday!
