It's September!

We had a plentiful tomato crop this year.  We always do when we plant the tomatoes on the north side of the house!

Bottling tomatoes

We put up ten quarts one Friday after school.
Johnny Appleseed's birthday is September 26.  Johnny  just so happened to drop by my classroom to visit my crew to celebrate!

We were able to go on a tour of the new school during the month of September.  All of the classrooms will be about the same.  This is a fifth grad classroom.  The white shelves will be covered by sliding whiteboard doors.

I think that this one will be my room, but I'm not sure.  It'll be one of the first grade rooms.

On Saturdays, the dad and I ride our bikes down to the Farmer's Market by the courthouse.  The dad bought us Electric Assist bikes for Christmas.  We park them in the courthouse secure parking while we shop!

One Sunday, we decided we wanted to try Fried Chicken and Waffles.  It's a trendy dish right now.  We made country fried chicken cutlets (schnitzel) to put on the waffles.

The finished product!  It was pretty doggone good!
