My phone has decided to be ornery when it comes to downloading my pictures to the computer. I decided I'd just do all of February at once. (Susan has since shown me how to get the pictures from the google cloud. Much easier.)
I know February is the shortest month, but this one seemed really LONG to me.
| We went to see Papa and Carlene and Amy and Cody in February. We were getting ready to pull out the old selfie stick to take a picture, and a cute nice gentleman offered to take our picture for us. Can you see him? |
| Papa took us citrus picking. |
| This is a poinsietta that Carlene got for Christmas several years ago. She planted it outside. It stayed a live, but never really thrived until this year. The picture doesn't even do it justice. |
| We got a little geocaching in! |
Amy and Cody were going to come over and spend the day with us in Mesa, but Amy got a bad cold, and it probably wasn't a good idea for her to come and get her sicky germs on Dad and Carlene. We still wanted to see them, so we drove to their place early on Sunday, and then we went to church with them! It was a short visit, but better than no visit! But sadly, I didn't get any pictures of them.
| On the way home, we did a little geocaching. |
| This was an old abandoned bridge. It was really cool. |
| We really had to work for this one. |
| I think I want to copy this idea. |
| In our quest to find the best fried chicken, we ate at Popeye's Chicken in Albuquerque. |
| It was good, but we discovered we don't actually like fried chicken enough to keep up the quest. |
| The dad making noodles with an Amish noodle maker that the Myers gave him for Christmas! |
| We had to go to Farmington to see this little guy before he changed too much. |
| The grandma and the grandad got to babysit while the mom and the dad went to a Valentine Dance! |
| Picking up a cache while out on a walk. |
| Brian found this one! |
| Running with Grandad! |
| We used to laugh at selfie sticks. Now we think they are pretty handy and useful if no one is around watching. |
| Of course we got to play games! |
| We bottled 20 pints of applesauce from the apples the kids at school didn't eat. |
| We had a Valentine's Day cake decorating class at Relief Society. |
| Our first snowstorm! We had a Snow Day! |
| This is as close as I got to a Birthday picture. We made George Washington hats for George Washington's birthday (and mine). |
| Carol sent me these for my birthday! |
| After our Temple Shift, we went to lunch with Carol and Mark at Firehouse Subs. It was really good! |
| Carol is on oxygen for at least awhile. She is NOT happy about it. |
| On the way home from the Temple, we stopped to pick up our 200th geocache. |
| Dr. Seuss week has begun. The dad came and did the Green Eggs and Ham thing before he took off for Washington, D.C. |
| I think every kid actually liked it this year. Usually there are a few picky ones who won't even try it. |
