Merry Christmas, and Christmas Week 2017!

Everybody came home for at least some part of the Christmas Week!  Yay!  Susan got home first.  She came home on the day before Christmas Eve!  She was able to stay until the Thursday after New Year's Day.  Brian, Chelsea, and their boys came over Christmas afternoon, and stayed until the Friday after Christmas.  Amy and Cody spent Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with Cody's family.  They came here the day after.  They went to Farmington with Brian and Chelsea on Friday, and came back to spend New Year's Eve here in Gallup.  They headed home to Mesa on New Year's afternnoon.  It was touch and go for awhile with Steve, Angela and Micah.  They had planned on heading down earlier in the week, but Angela was getting over a cold, and Steve had something that felt like it was turning into a sinus infection.  We thought they wouldn't be able to come down, because traveling when you are sick is miserable.  But on Thursday morning, they all felt better, so down they came!  They stayed until Sunday morning when we all went over to Farmington for Peter's blessing!  They spent New Year's Eve there, and then took off for American Fork the next day!  I sure love our wonderful, goofy, hilarious crew!

I took lots of pictures off of other folks' blogs.  If some of theses pictures look familiar, that's why.

We got Susan a DNA kit from Ancestry.com!

The dad is pretty sure I'll still pull the wrong chain every time, but I think these chain-pullers will do the trick for me!
David and his new "bike!"

Hiding with Grandad!

We sure do love this Petey-Pie!

Carol and Mark came over fo Christmas Day!

Mark got Carol and I "ugly Christmas sweaters!"
We sure do love this little guy!

Always lots of game playing!
Meeting the new newphew!
Gotta get used to holding these little guys!

We had a cheeseball decorating contest!  David and I were partners!

It was lots of fun!  We will definitely do it again!

David's giving Grandad a back massage!

It's Washoos Day!  The dad made three new colors of washoos for Christmas this year!

The new white-striped washers mysteriously disappeared.  We all searched and searched.  We came to the conclusion that eventually they would turn up in some expected place.  They did!  That unexpected place was Steve's pocket!  This is his look of shame!

Grandad got a new wheel for his wheelbarrow for Christmas!  Clearly itn was time for wheelbarrow rides!

David didn't want to ride; he wanted to run!

This was m y favorite game to play this vacation--Spyfall.
Angela found one of each flavor of Jelly Bellies!

Playing Steve and Angela's new Bob Rossi board game!

Gotta have some wrapping paper game playing!

Of course we made a few Italian Sodas!

The December 30th Independent was our last.  After 22 years of taking the paper, we finally stopped our subscription.  We hardly even read it at all anymore, so it was time to quit.
Making tamales for New Years!
