Grandma Drives to American Fork with Chelsea and David!

It's turning out to be quite the traveling summer for the Mom and

Grandma!  Just after we got back from Tucson, I drove up to American Fork with Chelsea and David, and  I was able to spend time with them on the road, and I was able to spend time with Steve, Angela and Micah while Chelsea went on to Elko to spend time with her family--she was able to spend time with Cody, as he has just returned from his mission, and she was able to see her new neice, Emma, for the first time!

We stopped in Cortez for breakfast and a wiggle break for David.

We also stopped at that fun music park in Moab for our next wiggle break!

We made it to American Fork.  David gave Micah the backhoe that we bought for him at a Convenience Store in Wellington!

Angela made us a delicious enchilada dinner.  They are now finding out the gender of Chelsea's baby.  See the blue filling?  It's a boy!

The next morning, Angela took me to find a geocache that was hidden pretty close to the house!  Micah and the cache!

We stopped to play at the park (after Angela and I rolled down a BIG hill to get to the play area)!

Angela had an appointment to give blood in Sandy on Friday morning.  Micah and I went on a walk to the Frisbee Golf Course in Art Dye Park.

On Saturday, we went on a 7 milke hike from home up the River Walk trail to the lake and back home.  Micah had been sick and miserable.  He slept part of the way, but even though he didn't feel well, he seemed to enjoy the adventure.  On Monday, Angela took him in to the clinic, and the poor little guy had an infection in both of his ears.  No wonder he was miserable!

Angela and I went geocaching for a little while while Steve and Micah hung out.  This bird house had a cache in it, and about a billion earwigs!

We found this one in the front yard of a home that had a wedding reception going on in the backyard at the time!

This is the dad's Father's Day dinner at home all alone.  He still makes me laugh after all these years!

Father's Day dessert.  Brownies and strawberries with Ice Cream Milk.  Ice Cream Milk is a tradition in Pleasant Grove during their Strawberry Days.  We poured it over strawberries to celebrate!

David was sure happy to see his Daddy when we met him in Shiprock.
