"It's Hatching!"

On Sunday afternoon, we got the most exciting text message ever!  It was from Steve.  It said, "It's hatching!"  Wahoo!  Angela was in labor.  The baby was almost here!

Then six hours later (and a few texts in between), we got an even more exciting text.  It said, "Baby came out at 10:10.  He and mom both doing well.  You're grandparents!"

We are grandparents!  Micah Steven Decker arrived on September 6 weighing in at a whopping 7 lbs. and was 19 inches long.

Angela had a LONG and hard back labor, but Steve said, "Angela's taking it like a champ."

There he is!   He's absolutely perfect!

I always thought the dad and I had the most beautiful babies.  Well this one is every bit as beautiful as our babies!  Micah, we're glad you're here!
