Our baby is twenty! Can you believe it.. 20! Wow! Obviously I had her when I was nine, you know! Her twentieth birthday was a blaze of glory! (Actually, it couldn't have been more low-key if we tried.) The dad was out of town, so it was just my baby and me on her actual day.
| Her big birthday gift was a bicycle basket and a new bell! |
| We went to Alicia's for dinner. It was tasty and delicious! |
| Look at that face! |
| As usual, she got a carne adovada burrito smothered in green chile! |
| But good news! We celebrated her birthday on Friday. The dad was home, and Brian and Chelsea came over to help celebrate! Susan picked Polynesian chicken for her birthday dinner. |
| For her cake, Susan made Raspaberry Fluff! Now that stuff is delicious! |
| Look at these grapes that we picked from our very own vine! |
| On Saturday, we drove up to McGaffee for a little adventure. We ate breakfast burritos... |
| ...and then a rousing game of Frisbee Golf! |
| You have to play around the trees when you're up in the mountains! |
| Get a load of that stance! |
| I'm pretty sure if there were such a thing as the World Series of Frisbee golf, we'd be right there at the top! |
| It was a fun way to start the morning. |
| Saturday was our annual chile day. We lucked out this year. Most of the chiles were big, meaty, and easy to peel! |
| The past few years, we have made chile rellenos for dinner on chile day. I will have to say that they are delicious! |
| After we ate rellenos for dinner, we made over four dozen chile relleno burritos for the freezer! The tasty goodness lives on! |
That selfie of you and Susan is an excellent picture.
