DC--Trip II, and the Rest of the Week!

The dad had to go back to DC for another round of meetings this year.  For the first time, he was able to be there when the cherry trees were in bloom!  From the pictures, they really are as glorious as people say!

Dad went to the Nationals Park and got us a bat and a keychain even though they weren't playing in DC that week.

I think this picture looks like a purchased postcard--just perfect.

Korean War Memorial

The dad got to the WWII Memorial just as a bagpipe and drum corp started to play.

For FHE, we sealed a 25 lb. bag of black beans.  We were completely out of black beans.

See the sad face.  We did a cheese artichoke omelet from the "...eggs" book and Crab-Stuffed Wontons from the "...Toaster Oven" book.  We took lovely pictures of the dishes.   When I turned the camera on later, there was a message that my memory chip needed to be formatted.  The camera proceeded to format the chip, and it reformatted the pictures away.

We planted new sod where the carpet used to be.  We took pictures, but they disappeared.  This is our stated version.
