December Was A Great Month!

December was a great month because we got to spend time with so many of our children and grandchildren.  We love our family, and don't feel like we are able to see them all that we would like to because of work and temple schedules.  So we cherish the time that we do have together.

I also have gotten out of the habit of taking many pictures since it's just the dad and me, so here is a short snapshot of our December.
Our Christmas Car this year

This is the District Court's Christmas Card

This is our principal, Lindsay Mingus, reading the Polar Express to our class.

Santa came to read his Christmas letters to our class

Here's my crew.

We celebrated Festivus with a Festivus pol, meatloaf...

...and feats of strength.  We skip the airing of grievances, though.  That just makes everyone cranky.

Making the traditional fruitcake.

Susan and Christian came to celebrate Christmas with us.  Sadly, I didn't take many pictures.  Here is our Christmas puzzle!

The pictures here are out of order.

Adding new wrapping paper.

Playing the wrapping paper game!

New Christmas jammies!

I don't know what this is a picture of, but I wish I did.

These are clearly out of order, but we went to see Wicked and loved it!

After Christmas, Steve's and Amy's families came to celebrate!

Cody has been training for a marathon in February.  He went on a 13 mile run.  We met him at the finish line with signs of encouragement!

Making latkes to go with the Hannukah brisket.

Carol and Mark went on a session with me during our Temple Weekend.
