For our honeymoon, we went to Durango, Colorado. We rode the Durango-Silverton Narrow Guage Railroad to Silverton and back. We also had dinner and a show at the Bar D Chuckwagon near Durango. We decided that this would be a fun way to celebrate our 40th Anniversary! We had a good time, and enjoyed being together!

| On our way to Durango, we stopped in to see Brian and Chelsea's family. They were still traveling back from the Neilsen Family Reunion in Utah when we got there, so we drove over to see the temple site. |

| There were some really nice walking trails along the Animas River. It was pretty close to our hotel, so we took advantage of the opportunity. |

| I got some of these pictures out of order. The day after we rode the train to Silverton, we walked the river trail near the railroad tracks. We were there when the train came by, so we waved and took pictures. The day before, we had seen lots of people waving and taking pictues! It was fun! |

| We were the only English speakers in our car. The rest of the folks were in a tour group from Guadalajara. When they left the train, it felt like we had made a whole bunch of new friends! |

It was a fun three days in Durango. Maybe we'll go again in another 40 years!
