We weren't able to have our regular Independence Day get-together this year. The dad and I had Covid. Fortunately, Steve and Angela were able to bring their kids down a couple of weeks later for a visit. And since Steve can work from home, he was able to work here, and they were able to stay for a little over a couple of weeks! The grandad and I loved it!

| Steve found a recipe for mega bubbles. We had a couple of evenings of bubble fun. One evening was a little breezy, and the other was calm. I've never made bubbles like these! |

| We read "Cook-a-doodle-doo," which is a story about a rooster that made a Strawberry Shortcake. We had some strawberries, so we made one ourselves! |

| We had our temple shift weekend while they were here, so we all went over to Albuquerque for the weekend. We stopped on the way at a part in Grants for a picnic! |

| The grandad and I hung out with the kids while Steve and Angela did sealings. |

| The kids and Angela came over to school to help me start getting my room ready for the new year! We played on the playground for a bit! |

| Angela and I went to see "Where the Crawdad Sings." We had both read the book. It was fun go see the movie together! (We took a picture of me by the poster, too,but I can't find that one.) |

| Angela cleaned out all the gunk and muck from under the sink, and then she even painted the interior of the cupboard! Yaaaaaaay! |

| We had a HUGE, massive rainstorm while they were here. This was not it. This was the normal storm from the day before. I didn't take any pictures of the big one! |
We very much enjoyed having them here with us! We love when our kids bring their families home for a visit!
