Hooray for March!

In March things started to look up.  COVID numbers and deaths started to drop, and things started to open up a little more.  Life is beginning to be a little brighter again!

We couldn't have guests in to read during Dr. Seuss week this year due to COVID-19 restrictions.  So I had the next best thing!  Some of my kids and the dad recorded videos of themselves reading Dr. Seuss books, and we got to have guest readers after all!

We also made Circus McGerkes Pink Lemonade, and Green Eggs and Ham!

The weekend after it had been two weeks since the dad and I had our second Pfizer vaccine shots, Brian and Chelsea brought their crew down for a visit!!!!   Hooray, hooray, Hooray!  Peter wrote his name on the whiteboard.  The glare made it hard to read, though.

It's Friday Pizza Night!

Emily loves Grandad!

Helping Daddy punch out game pieces!

We watched a Ryan's World video that showed balloon races, so we decided to give it a try!

Amy and Cody brought their crew to Gallup for Spring Break!

It was Pi Day.  We made Shepherd's Pie for dinner...

...and Amy made Dutch Apple Pie for dessert!

The old lady's horse goes....

Chelsea called and we put our heads together and decided it would be a great time for her to jump in the car with her kids and come to see Amy.   Calvin was almost a year, and she hadn't even seen him yet.

So they did just that.

The cousins enjoyed playing together for awhile!

I found these toy cubes all in a row.

I wonder how they got there.

Amy thought she'd get some peaceful time for exercising.

That's what you get for thinking!

Doing a little gardening.

My amaryllis had gorgeous blooms on it!

Amy's quilt is almost finished!

Our first mowing of spring!

After a whole COVID year, we were finally able to go to Albuquerque!  We went to Costco!

We went by the temple!

The daffodils are starting to bloom!
