Our National Day Celebrations for November!

November 1 is National Vinegar Day.  We put a teaspoon of vinegar in our foot juice mixed with chia seeds every morning.  It's our delicious morning elixer.

It is also National Calzone Day!

We made Cinnamon Stick Santas to celebrate National Cinnamon Day!

We celebrated National Vinegar Day again with an oil and vinegar dressing on our salad!
Nov. 2 is National Deviled Egg Day!
Daylight Saving Time Ends on Nov. 3.

It is also National Sandwich Day!  Intesting side note:  Chick-fil-a petitioned to make this a National Day because it is the Early of Sandwich's birthday.  This is the first National Sandwich Day, and it is on Sunday, when all Chick-fil-a restaurants are closed!

Nov. 3 is also National Housewife Day.

Nov. 4 is National Chicken Lady Day!

It is also National Candy Day and National Color the World Orange Day!

Nov. 5 is National Doughnut Day!

Nov. 5 is also...

...National Love Your Red Hair Day!

Nov. 6 is National Nachos Day...

...and Saxophone Day!

Natrional Bittersweet Chocolate Day.  We put dark chocolate chips in our oatmeal!


Nov. 7 is Men Make Dinner Day!


Steve celebrated it by making dinner for Angela, too!





Nov. 8 is National STEM/STEAM Day!

We had fun!



On November 9, we made Gumbo to celebrate National Louisiana Day!


Nov. 10 is National Forget-me-not Day.  As we were heading over to Farmington for Emily's Blessing, we listened to Elder Uchtdorf's Forget-me-Not talk.

We also took vanilla cupcakes with us to celebrate National Vanilla Cupcake Day!

And who doesn't love whipped cream on a cupcake!


November 11 is Veteran's Day! We went to the parade downtown!


We also hiked up to the big flag on the hill!  The wind really did a number on my hair!  The trail up is really a nice one!

It was also National Sundae Day!

Nov. 12 is National French Dip Day!

November 13 is National Educational Support Day!  On the left is my amazing assistant, Roxie Singer.  On the right is my student teacher, Yael Morgan.

November 14 is National Pickle Day!  We had three different kinds of home canned pickles.

It was also National Spicy Guacamole Day!

November 15 is National Philanthropy Day!  We gave Susan $100 to put in the Light to the World machine!

It is also National Raisin Bran Day!  Notice the whipped cream?

It was also America Recycles Day, so I took a bunch of boxes from school to the recycle drop-off.

And, it was also National Clean Out Your Refrigerator Day!

November 16 is National Fast Food Day.  We went to Long John Silver's to celebrate!

November 17 is National Take a Hike Day.  It was also on a Sunday this year, so we didn't want to take a real power-hike, so we hiked up to the big flag again.  Since we were there last week, a new cache had been hidden.  We found it!


It was also National Homemade Bread Day!

November 18 is National Princess Day!
Erika is celebrating National Princess Day, too!  She's even wearing her Paper Bag Princess crown!

It is also Mickey Mouse's Birthday!

November 19 is National Carbonated Beverage With Caffeine Day.  (Whew!  That's a mouthful!)  I went out to dinner with Anne Doucette at Cracker Barrell!  I ordered a Diet Dr. Pepper!)

November 20 is National Peanut Butter Fudge Day.  I made Peanut Butter Fudge Ice Cream Topping to celebrate!

November 21 is Great American Smokeout.  (It's a day for all smokers to give up smoking for the day.)  Since we don't smoke, we plank-cooked salmon and had smoked salmon for dinner.

It was also National Stuffing Day...

...and it was National Gingerbread Day!  Amy, Cody, and Eli helped us celebrate!


November 22 is National Cranbery Relish Day!

Nov. 23 is National Cashew Day!  We got dark chocolate covered cashews from Sprouts after our temple shift.

When we got home, we opened a jar of raw cashews!

It was also National Eat a Cranberry Day!


Nov. 24 is National Sardines Day!

Susan and Steve ate them.  The dad and I celebrated by NOT eating them!

November 25 is National Play With Dad Day!  Steve and Micah celebrated!

It was also National Parfait Day.  Everybody loves a parfait!




November 26 is National Cake Day.  We made fruitcake. 



The recipe makes two.  We ate one, and we froze the other one to eat when we celebrate National Fruitcake Day on Dec. 27.


November 27 is National Bavarian Cream Pie Day! 

Everybody helped us celebrate!

November 28 is Thanksgiving!  We celebrated all day long!







After dinner, we kept on celebrating with Musical Mayhem.  I didn't take any pictures because I was holding to little lovebugs, so I took all of these from Chelsea's blog.  Thanks! Chelsea!







November 29 is National Maize Day.  We celebrated by eating popcorn!

Italian Sodas taste great with popcorn!


Then we had to celebrate National Flossing Day by flossing the hulls out of our teeth!

November 30 is National Mason Jar Day!  We celebrated by putting leftover Egg Drop Soup in Mason Jars!
