May 2026 AND Pictures of our Family in May

May was a super-busy month, yet I didn't take many pictures this month.  We'll start the post with pictures sent to us by our family, and end with the pictures I took.

The dad put a new cover over the feed pipes and cleaned up the chicken area.  It looks great!

A Master Gardener told us it's a good idea to burn the top of the soil in the garden beds before planting.  It is supposed to kill off lots of bug eggs (hopefully squash bugs) and it kills fungus that may be living i the soil.  We did it last year, and we only had 1 squash bug that we saw.  We still did get fungus on our cucumber leaves, though, but not as bad as usual.

My Mother's Day feast!

Our newest girls.  One of them, however is a rooster.  Boo.

March and April 2026 With Pictures from the Family Mixed In

I'm getting more and more lazy with my blog posts.  Maybe I should just call them photo dumps!  For all it's worth, here's what I have for March and April.

Micah had a list of things he wanted to do while we were in Utah.  H wanted to play Frisbee and have a picnic at the park. Check, and check.

It was time for me to get a new phone.  I dare not do that without help.  Steve helped me pick one out, and he transferred everything over.  Easy as pie, for me.

We said good-by to the table we raised our childred with.  We got a new one!
