Calvin wanted to go to a hotel to swim and to eat breakfast in the Breakfast Room for his birthday. Well, we were only too happy to grant this birthday wish to our youngest grandchild! We met Cody and Amy and the boys in Flagstaff for a weekend! It was a fun weekend, and we look forward to doing it again sometime!
| Yay! Everybody made it to the hotel! |
| You know what is fun about hotels? You can jump from one bed to another back and forth! |
| You know what is even more fun? If Grandad plays it with you! The first night, everyone got to the hotel just as it was time to go to bed. The fun would have to wait until morning! |
| Hotels make delicious waffles for breakfast! |
| And after breakfast, it was time for a swim. Grandad and I went to target to grab Puddle Jumpers for Calvin while they all got ready for a dip. |
| After a good long swim, it was time for a rousing game of Hungry, Hungry Hippos! |
| There was a quilt show at the public library. We couldn't pass up that good fortune! |
| Then the boys wanted to stay and play a the library for awhile Calvin was the birthday boy, so he called the shots! |
| Grandad was okay with that! |
| After going out to Chick-fil-a, it was time for a walk. There was a nice walking trail right next to the hotel! |
| We got back in time for another swim! |
| We had a glow-dance party and played another round of Hungry, Hungry Hippos before calling it a night. The next morning, we all went home. Doug and I went to church in Holbrook. The Pederson Crew made it home in time to go to their own ward! |
