October in Gallup!

Our garden gave us a bunch of tomatoes this year.  We put up several pints of oven-roasted marinara sauce!  It's delicious!

So far, in addition to meats, we've made flan, cheesecake and Crème Brule with the sous vide.

This is Crème Brule.

We went on the Quaking Aspen Trail looking for autumn leaves.

We've taken quite a liking to street tacos lately.

Our rescue Christmas Cactus is in bloom!

Another hike in the Zuni's.  This one is Sawmill South.

For Halloween, we made bloody feet loaf.

Another Saturday hike...

...and another.

We're afraid our weekly Saturday hikes are nearing their end for the season.  As the mountains begin to get snow, the ground gets too muddy to hike.  This past weekend it was close to being too muddy.  We love to hike, but we'll still pray for moisture.
